13-YEAR OLD OLIVIA SINGS FOR THE ARMY BENEVOLENT FUND ‘MY ANGEL FRIEND’ - SET TO MOVE A NATION
13-year old singing sensation Olivia is set to storm the charts with her debut single ‘My Angel Friend’, raising money for serving and ex-serving soldiers.
‘My Angel Friend’ is an original composition, commissioned especially for Olivia to sing to raise funds for The Army Benevolent Fund (the ABF) as requests for assistance from the charity have risen by 20% and are set to keep rising.
Produced by Rob Cass who has worked with Estelle, The Saturdays, G4 and Will Young to name but a few, the song is a sweeping ballad which is both uplifting and emotional. Click the image below to read the full story about Olivia's star studded show!
As the demand on the Army continues to remain high, so do the needs of soldiers both current and ex-service. The demand for help from the Army Benevolent Fund has never been higher and is predicted to keep rising.
Olivia is proud to support the ABF who in turn support soldiers and former soldiers. During the last year, the Soldiers' Charity provided assistance to over 3,100 people; a rise of 20% and a record total of £2.5 million in grants to individuals. Mobility and debt have been by far the biggest calls for assistance clearly reflecting the current economic climate and the impact of current operations.
Dependent on voluntary donations, the ABF must currently raise around £5.5 million each year to continue its vital work.
